Holiday Season!

Hello everyone! I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas yesterday and are enjoying the holiday season so far :) I've not been up to much really. Just been eating and sleeping a lot. Ooooh, and shopping online! So far so good :) Anyways, I just wanted to quickly share a couple of outfits :)

19 weeks pregnant :) This was taken before church and Christmas dinner with my family and boyfriend. The dress is from H&M. I love the colour and it fits so perfectly even with my growing baby bump! :)

This was the last day of my internship and the Christmas lunch that we had :) The top is from forever21. I think the studs on the collar looks great! Some people even asked if I DIY'd this myself. I'm also wearing maternity jeans from H&M which are so much more comfortable. Well, I can't even wear some of my clothes anymore they are far too tight for me! I'm not planning on buying a lot of maternity clothes though. Mostly just jeans and leggings since normal tops and dresses still fit me anyways. And I won't be able to wear the maternity clothes anymore after I've given birth. :P

It's been awhile...

because I'm really sick atm :(

Hospital. Anti-biotics. Asthma pump. I've got the flu, sinus infection and apparently Asthma! Do you know what's weird? I've never had Asthma before so this inhaler thing is totally new to me! :S

I've been ill for nearly over a week now! This is one of the things I don't like about winter. I get ill so easily because my immune system is too weak. I totally shouldn't be on my laptop right now but I wanted to do a quick post and quickly check out what's going on in the Internet world! I miss working and going out and dressing up and getting ready. I look like complete crap right now and I feel even worse than I look! I hope that I get better soon because I've had enough of feeling totally weak.

As soon as I'm up and feeling better, promise for new pictures and posts! Hope everyone is all well. It's definitely flu season and the freezing weather is not helping at all. Wrap up warm! <3

Free Glasses from Firmoo!

A couple of weeks ago, I received an email from a company called Firmoo (www.firmoo.com) asking if I wanted to receive for FREE one of their products and give a review on my blog. I went to the website straight away to see if it was legit and even googled some other blogs that have done the review and all looked good to me! I emailed back and they responded quite quickly giving me the details on how to claim my free glasses. It was either a prescription glasses or sunglasses but since my eyesight is so bad and I always wear glasses or contact lenses, I opted for the prescription glasses.

I went on the website to choose and boy did I have a hard time! There were so many varieties of different glasses to choose from and they all looked so pretty! After spending some time on the website I chose #SD2383 in Red since all my glasses have always been in black, I thought this would be a nice change :) You can find this glasses by clicking this here. It also comes in full black, blue or matte. It's very easy to fill in the form and enter your prescription too.

After receiving an email from firmoo saying my glasses have been shipped, I received it today after about 5 working days! Very quick delivery. It came with a hard case as well as a soft case as seen in the photo above. Also with a bright green cleaning cloth which is very helpful.

It also came with this cute tiny screw driver so you can adjust your glasses if it doesn't fit you just right. I didn't actually need to use this because the glasses fit me perfectly!

How cute are the glasses right? I'm really happy with the frame that I chose. The size and shape is perfect for my face shape and it's not too big either so it doesn't drown out my face or anything :) The black and red goes so well together. I will definitely be wearing these glasses when I'm giving my eyes a break from contact lenses.

The other thing which I really loved about Firmoo is that they have a first pair free program which you can check out here. Glasses are now definitely a fashion accessory and it's not just worn by people with problems with their eyesight. You can even get non-prescription glasses and sunglasses from Firmoo which is great. And to get your first pair for free to try them out is even more great! I really recommend to give Firmoo a try as I am very happy with my glasses and the service. Thanks firmoo!

Vanessa Denice's Debut

On Saturday night, I was one of the candles for my friend's eighteenth debut party. It's a tradition for filipino ladies to have a debut on their eighteenth birthday. It's like a coming of age celebration. There's an 18 roses dance where the debutante will dance with special 18 men in her life in which they give her a rose. The 18 candles are the women close to the debutante and each candle makes a wish for the celebrant. It was a really fun night filled with dancing and lots of yummy food!

I still remember my debut three years ago! It's really an amazing experience and it's a lot of fun. Especially wearing pretty dresses and getting your hair and make-up done.

Anyways, here are a few pictures from the night. The theme was strictly black and white and I bought my dress from H&M for only £14.99! Lace is definitely in season and I love it! It's so classy.

This is me with the lovely debutante in her pretty dress :)  Doesn't she look beautiful? I can't believe she's already 18!

Me with my cousin Denisse and the lovely Vanessa.

This is me and my boyfriend Michael. Oh you fancy huh ;)

And this is me and my cousin Denisse :) Bump! <3

And that was my saturday night! I hope you all had a lovely weekend and are all ready for another week <3

Face of the day.

Sorry for the horrible quality. Front cameras of iphone are just not good at all, but very helpful! :)

Products used:
  • Simple toner and moisturizer
  • Sleek lumaire highlighting concealer - l05
  • Mac studio tech foundation - nw35
  • Sleek Brow kit - dark.
  • Benefit's They're Real mascara
  • Maybelline's Dream terra sun bronzing powder - 03S Tiger
  • Sleek i-Divine Palette   - Oh So Special
  •  Avon's Color Trend lipstick - Deluxe
As you can see the majority of the products I use are Sleek. I love their products especially the concealer - one of my favourites! They work so well with my skin type and tone. Plus, they're so affordable. I love big make-up brands like MAC and Benefit but you can't go wrong with the more cheaper drug store products especially when the quality is just as good.

Enjoy the rest of the week loves!

Christmas wish list #1

Hi loves. I'm not really expecting anything this Christmas at all! I just plan on buying a few things to treat myself and I know my boyfriend will get me something for Christmas / our second year anniversary coming on January. But other than that, I don't really get much Christmas presents. It's not the same when you're not a kid anymore I guess! And I'd rather get money to be honest and spend it myself instead of getting presents I may not like or not use :)

But anyways even if I'm not expecting anything, a girl can still dream. Here are some of the things I need/want to get my hands on asap if possible! :) These are in no order btw, I want all of them equally!

Black quilted bomber jacket from Miss Selfridge
How nice is this black jacket? I already have a navy blue bomber jacket which I absolutely love because it keeps me so warm and dry, especially because the one I already have has a hood so wanting another one is perfectly fine! This black one looks nice and will go well with most casual outfits. I love the gold zips as well.
Converse All-Star White Hi-top
You can't go wrong with converses. I mean I love and collect Vans, but converses are classics too! I've always wanted a white pair because it will go so well with any colours.
100pc Elf eyeshadow palette in Black
I'm so excited to get my hands on this palette! I've always been a big fan of Elf products so I really want to see what the fuss is all about with this palette. Not only is it cheap and affordable, but it's 100 colours! I can experiment with endless looks with this.
Casio Ladies Gold Plated Bracelet Watch.
I've had my eye on this watch for quite some time now. It is another classic isn't it? The gold plated bracelet looks so classy and will be perfect arm candy.

H&M Red blazer
I really need a new blazer and I came across this blazer from H&M's website... and I instantly fell in love with the colour of it. It's sure to brighten up any outfit especially during the dull winter days! It can go so well with a LBD or even a nice tee and jeans.
Nails Inc. A -listers collection

This collection from Nails Inc includes 4 limited edition catwalk inspired neutral shades. It's perfect  to match the berry shades in trend right now! It includes Lower Sloane Street - soft toffee, Ledbury Road - metallic taupe, Mayfair - iridescent white, Covent Garden Ballet - delicate grey shimmer. I love Nails Inc polishes. The quality is really good and it doesn't chip easily! I love how they name the polishes after places in London too :)

Real Techniques Core Collection

I have heard such amazing things about these brushes! Especially the buffing brush! It's just not fair that I haven't got my hands on these yet! :( The price is not bad at all too! Especially for four such good quality brushes.

Viva La Juicy - La fleur
I am such a big fan of Juicy Couture perfumes - I have all of them! Except for this one which was released in September this year. It will complete my Juicy couture perfume collection once I get this! It smells absolutely divine :)

That's the items for my Christmas wish list number one! I definitely have a few more items on my list. But let's save that for another blog post shall we? :)

Have a great day/night lovelies!

Doodle away.

Hi lovelies! I hope you're all having a great week. I just wanted to share with you one of my favourite past times, especially when I'm feeling really down. Doodling and writing away on my journal! I find it really therapeutic and it calms me down. I can just write and doodle everything and anything down. Anyway, here are a few of my doodles. I will probably share more of these soon :)

I'm no artist. I just enjoy doodling and writing. It's good for the soul :)

Enjoy the rest of the week my loves! <3

Maybelline's Dream Fresh BB Cream

Hi loves! Hope you all had a lovely weekend. Just thought I'd do a quick post my thoughts on Maybelline's BB cream! I'm actually in love with this product! It worked wonders on my skin

This is my face clear of any make-up products. I did use a Simple toner before taking this shot. I'm breaking out which is not good at all. :( That's why I'm taking a break from wearing foundation or even too much powder because I need to let my skin breathe and hopefully my spots will clear out! I need to start sleeping early too.

And the picture on the right was taken after applying the BB cream. Big difference! It definitely makes your skin glow just like it promised! Also makes my spots less visible and even brightened the dark circles under my eyes. The BB cream can be used as a primer or moisturizer and can even be used on its own if you want to let your skin breathe. You only need to apply a thin layer so it feels like you don't even have anything on your face. I definitely recommend this product! It can be purchased from stores like Superdrug or Boots or similar drugstores and it retails for £7.99. It's definitely worth it!

And this is me... finally looking more human!
Haha :) Like I said earlier, I am trying to let my skin breathe so my spots can go away! <3
Hope you all have a lovely week ahead of you guys!

Leopard Print Nail Design.

Hello everyone! I've been wanting to try out the leopard print nail design myself and I finally had the chance to over the weekend! I had a lot of fun with it and I definitely will be doing it again. You can experiment with so many different colours and the best part of it? You don't need a steady hand because it's meant to look messy! Well, kinda. Hehe. It was easy and fun to do. If a newbie like myself can do this, I'm sure anyone can :)

These are the three products that I used for it.
Nails Inc. St. James - for the colour base.
Beauty UK white - for the spots.
Andrea Fulerton Nail Boutique dot and flick - for the lines.

You can mix and match literally any colours you want. But I think it's best if you use a lighter colour for the base and a darker colour for the spots so you can see the detail more. This is what I'm going to try next time.

St. James is now of one my favourite shades from Nails Inc! I love how vibrant the colour is. It's a deep red which I think really compliments my skin colour. It's great for brightening up dull days too!

Once your base is dry, you can start with the spots! What's great about this is that they don't have to look neat. To really achieve that leopard print, spread them evenly over your nail and there's a variety of different sizes. Just make sure you don't over do them so you can still see the detail of it.

What I enjoyed most about this design is drawing on the squiggly lines! You do this once you have done all the spots. Just draw on the squiggly lines on either side of the spots and voila! :)

Real easy right? I know it doesn't look perfect, but this is my first time. Will certainly be practising more so it'll look better next time! :) Will you be trying this design on your nails? Let me know how you find it! :)

Mini Friday Treat!

Hello lovely people! It's Friday!!! For the first time in the longest time, I can finally get excited about Friday because I'll be off for the weekend! Usually I'm working over the weekend too, so I'm really going to relax, pamper and rest during my days off and make the most of it.

Anyway, me and my mum went out earlier for some quick shopping! I had to hold back because I really want to save up and I told myself that I won't go shopping until payday comes again (which isn't for another 2 weeks!). Hard times. I found so many pretty things that I wanted to buy. But I only picked up a few accessories from Miss Selfridge and my mum paid for them which was great!

Miss Selfridge accessories are my favourite! I always find really pretty rings and earrings there.
It's been awhile since I bought hoop earrings. I went through a phase when I was younger where I wore hoop earrings all the time and the bigger the better, lol! But these hoop earrings are pretty and I love the peace symbol on it. The mismatched earrings are great too. This is the second time that I bought mismatched earrings from Miss Selfridge and I love it! It's more interesting and unique and you can just mix and match. The rings are very pretty too and I love the dangling charms on some of them which are a pearl, a crown and a little pink cuppa! So cute :)

So that's my mini Friday treat! Will do a post soon on another nail art similar to my leopard print which can be found here! :)

Have a great weekend my loves!

Monday!

Hello my lovelies! I hope you're all having a lovely day/night so far where ever you are in the world. I've had a busy pretty week so far and I'm so tired! But I had a day off on Monday which was great :) I was a little bit annoyed because I woke up so early even though I didn't need to. But it turned out okay because I ended up going swimming! I absolutely love swimming and I haven't been for ages and I thought it would be a good exercise.

Queen Mother Sports Centre
The nearest pool next to me was the Queen Mother Sports Centre in Victoria, which was only about 15minutes away. I swam for about 45 minutes. I wanted to swim for longer but I got tired so easily! And it was a little bit boring because I was on my own. It was very relaxing though and it was a great "ME" time. Plus I felt so great and had loads of energy after it.

That night, me and and my boyfriend also had a cinema and dinner date! We were meant to watch Skyfall but we missed it so we watched Fun Size instead. Cute funny film! We had dinner at Chiquitos and as always the food was lovely. I was in food coma after our meal! Definitely enjoyed it though. Anyway, this is what I was wearing that day:

Pink and brown striped jumper: H&M. Black shorts: Miss Selfridge. Maroon shoes: Vans.

It was a very cold day! But I really loved this outfit. It's another casual, comfy outfit. I paired this outfit with a varsity jacket plus another jacket because it was just too cold. I needed the layers!
I love wearing vans too because they go with almost any casual outfit. Definitely a fave. Me and my boyfriend love them and we collect them! <3

Anyways, that was my Monday! I'm off for the next four days and I get to spend the weekend with my lovely boyfriend so I can't wait for that. Will definitely post a new entry in the next few days too as I know I will have the time. Also, someone left me a comment on tumblr asking me to do videos! I honestly would really love to do videos on my hauls, OOTD and maybe even tutorials... But I just don't have the time right now :( I have my internship during the weekdays and I work part time during the weekend so I get really tired. And I would need to invest in a good video camera too! Once I do, I will definitely start making videos and will find the time to. <3

Til next time my loves!

Friday's OOTD.

Hello my lovelies! I was meaning to post this up on Friday, but I was out the whole day and I was working all weekend!

Burgungy Hoody: Topshop.  Black leggings: H&M. T-shirt: Sugar moustache Boots:  Grey short mountain quilted: Uggs.
It was pretty cold on Friday! So I had to wear a jacket on top of my hoody because it wasn't enough to keep me warm! Also, I didn't like my face that day haha. It was one of those days! It's a pretty casual outfit. Something that I would wear if I'm feeling quite chilled, laid back and too lazy to dress up :)

Anyways, the t-shirt that I'm wearing is one of my favourites! It's by Sugar Moustache. They are based in Thailand and they sell a variety of products online from clothing, phone accessories, bags and jewellery. Most of their designs are based on the moustache ;) But they do have other cool designs aswell so there's a lot to choose from.

They ship worldwide and their products are not not expensive at all.  They even have different offers every month which is awesome. Plus, they dispatch orders pretty quick. And when I had a questions regarding my payment, they replied ASAP. I'm happy with the product and their service. My boyfriend also has the same t-shirt, just because we are cheesy like that and we do like to match outfits sometimes! Haha. He too is a big fan of Sugar Moustache! I will definitely be ordering more items from them as I have already seen a few which I would like to own :)

Click here to check out Sugar Moustache!

I hope you all had a lovely weekend and are ready to face another week! Can you believe it's November already? :O Time goes pretty quick. Christmas is coming soon! I also have some pretty big news but I'm not yet ready to share. As soon as I am, I will definitely blog about it :)

New Uggs and Wellies!

I am definitely ready for winter. Well, my feet at least! :D
I ordered new shoes (again!) from Office last week and they finally came!

Shanleigh Chestnut Suede Ugg. (£120)
I'm absolutely in love with it. This is my second pair of Uggs and definitely won't be my last. I love how comfortable and warm they are. They're definitely worth it. I love the aztec detail at the back. I can't wait to do some OOTD with these shoes :)

Rocket Boy Boot (£15)
These wellies were half price from £30! I had to get them. It's also available in other colours blue and red but I opted for the black one to keep it simple. I love how cute it looks but I was a bit disappointed with the fitting. For a size 5, they are quite big for me. It's a bit awkward when I walk too, but maybe because I'm just not used to it. I'll see how it goes. I just love the polka dot print on it. Super cute!

I'm happy with my purchases! Next time I'll definitely do an OOTD. It has been awhile since I've done one! It's getting super cold here in London now so time to start wearing knit wear, boots, coats and other fluffy warm stuff :) Hope you guys have a good or had a good Thursday!

Zebra Print Nails

I love doing nail art and I'm always excited to experiment with different polishes and designs. I'm a newbie at this so my designs aren't exactly the best, but I just love experimenting!

Here is a zebra print nail design using OPI and Andrea Fulerton's nail boutique dot and flick pen. It was my first time using Andrea Fulerton's product and I gotta say, I love it! It was very easy to use. You also have the option of using the pen or the thin brush so you can really do a lot of different designs and patterns on your nails. Will definitely be getting more nail pens :)

Messy bun.

My hair is in that weird phase where it's not short anymore but it's not exactly long either. My fringe has also grown out now but I haven't had the chance to get it trimmed yet. Because of this, I always want my hair to be out of the way and just for it to be always tied up.

My solution? A messy bun! I absolutely love it. It takes me less than 5 minutes to do and it's a great simple yet girly look. I always just opt for a simple black hair band but you can easily accessorize it with pretty ribbons. :)

Have a great Thursday everyone :)

Weekly haul.

L-R: True Mary Jane Pump in Navy Blue, Look Chain Ballerina in Nude Patent, Macaroon Pump Leopard Micro Studs.
How cute are these new flats that I ordered online from office? I'm completely in love with them. They were on sale so I knew I had to get them. Delivery was super quick too! They said it'll take about 7 days but I got them in 3 days I think :)
I love all of them but I think my favourite one is the leopard micro studs. Leopard and studs together? SUPER HOT! The navy blue pumps are more for casual lazy day looks and I know I'll wear the nudes mostly for when I go in the office which will go great with most of my favourite office outfits.
I'm in love with shoes. You can never have too many pairs! Next on my list: New Uggs for the winter, leather boots, white leather vans and hunter wellies! Payday needs to come soon :P

Here are the other stuff I bought this week.

Models Own Make-Up brush set. Includes Powder brush, lip liner brush, shading brush, angled brush and blending brush.
Maybelline's Dream terra sun bronzing powder in 03S Tiger.
Maybelline's Dream fresh BB cream in medium.

I just HAD to buy the brush set. I absolutely love the neon colour and the tip of the brushes and I know this will just make doing my make-up more fun especially now it's all dark and depressing in the winter :) Haven't used the bb cream or the bronzing powder yet so will definitely do a review for it when I do. Enjoy the rest of the weekend for me :) I've been working all day today and I'll be working again tomorrow as I do every weekend! Blog again soon! -andreadxo -andreadxo

Twisted Updo.

Hi everyone! This is a twisted updo inspired by Bubzbeauty's "3 Min Twisted Updo" on youtube. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bf-gRNE0uDs). I always do this side plait with my fringe so it was fairly easy to follow. I just had a bit of trouble twisting the two plaits together so it looks a bit messy. Other than that, I think it's a cute hairstyle which looks very classy, yet simple. It kinda reminds me of Princess Leia from Star Wars though don't you think? =P I'll definitely wear this hair style again though as it makes me feel super girly :) Check out bubzbeauty here: www.bubzbeauty.com She's one of my favourite beauty gurus on youtube! <3 -andreadxo

Leather Jacket: Miss Selfridge. Top: Mango. Jeggings: Vero Moda. Tote Bag: Longchamp  Brogue  shoes: Peacocks.

I'm in love with the maroon / burgundy colour right now. It's actually in style this autumn and I'm not surprised. The colour reminds me of falling, dried leaves, crispy cold weather somehow. I wore this outfit once for my internship. I thought it was a very cute, simple combo.
I love that I can get to dress up every time for my internship. Though there isn't really a dress code, I do make an effort. Some days when I'm not really that bothered I just wear smart/casual clothes, like matching a pair of jeggings with a smart top. Other days I want to look really smart and wear a pencil skirt or a smart dress. It just depends on how I'm feeling I guess.

p.s. I am so so so happy that my hair is finally growing! Though I miss having a bob, I will probably never cut it that short again :)

Dress worn for my graduation celebration dinner.
It's by True Decadence and I bought it from Oasis for £69.99, UK size 8.
I love the sequin finish to it and its super sparkly! It did get a bit itchy for my arms though after awhile because of all the sequins, but other than that I absolutely love this dress. It's very elegant and classy and it definitely made me stand out and shine :)
