Has it really been nearly two years?

Wow. I can't believe it. The worst blogger award of the year goes to... ME!

I seriously am shocked that it's nearly two years since I last updated my blog. I know it's terrible. I'm sorry. I've been busy! The last post I wrote was all about staying healthy during your pregnancy and now, I have a beautiful daughter who will be turning two in two months' time! Time really does fly. It's so random but I've decided to make a comeback to blogging! I have been feeling uninspired lately and feel like my creative juices has dried up. I refuse to let my love for blogging and social media die down so, here I am! I've always loved blogging ever since I discovered Internet and Matmice (OMG, who remembers that website?) I feel like it's the only platform where I can show my passion and love for things whether it be make up, food or a place I've been to.

Now that I am a mother, I also love sharing what me and my family has been up to especially my beautiful daughter Aaliyah Rose! I know she's nearly two and you guys have missed out on a lot, but I think now is the perfect time for me to actually start blogging about her and not just sharing her pictures and videos on instagram and facebook. My time management has certainly improved and I have finally learnt how to juggle things between motherhood, work and everything else in between so I'm sure I can fit blogging into my life now! Plus, I've given myself a project to work on too - VLOGGING! Now that Aaliyah is growing up and she's starting to talk and really show her personality, capturing it on camera just seems like the right thing to do! I don't want to do it for the views or anything, but mostly for me and my family to look back on and capture memories. I even asked my partner Mike if he thinks it's a good idea since he's not really into social media that much, but he said yes and completely supportive of what I want to do. So yes, hopefully soon enough I will have some vlogs up on my youtube channel!

It feels so good to blogging again. I'm excited for things I will be blogging about in the future! I may not blog everyday, but at least I know I've started again and will have the motivation to do it!

To end this blog post, here is a picture of me and my beautiful family from the beginning of the year. Have a nice day guys!

Valentines/Thursday 2013.

Hope everyone had a lovely Valentines Day this year :) To be honest, I'm not a big fan of it myself and me and my boyfriend don't really celebrate it. We just think it's so commercial and you don't need to take just one day of the year to show someone how much you love or care for them. So it was just like another day for us. We did go out for dinner though but it was just like another fat date for a fat couple like us :)

You can definitely see the weight gain on my face now! But for our Valentines/Thursday date, I decided to do some soft curls. I think this definitely suits my face shape and adds definition to my disappearing jaw line ;P My boyfriend doesn't really like me wearing much make-up so I opted for light pink and browns for my eye make-up.

Fattest couple of the year! Haha. I do love our outfits so we were being a bit vain before heading out that night. The top I'm wearing isn't a maternity top. It's actually still a size 8 top which is from Jane Norman. Before it was totally loose but now you can see it's tighter now especially where my bump is :) And as I said in my previous posts, all I want to wear now are maternity leggings since nothing else fit me anymore. My butt and thighs has definitely gotten bigger!

Some goodies that I got that day! A new Longchamp Tote and Select Sheer pressed powder from MAC! Two of my favourite things in life - bags and make-up!

For dinner we went to Vapianos! We got there around 6pm and luckily it wasn't that busy or packed yet. It looks like super small portions, but the dish is quite deep and I had difficulties finishing my meal! It was absolutely delish though and the prices are pretty reasonable.

And for dessert, krispy kreme donuts! We haven't had them for ages so we decided to buy a double dozen. I was really excited to try the red velvet cake, but it was disappointing. It was quite dry and didn't taste anything like previous red velvet cakes I've had. The rest were still yummy though :)

My boyfriend spoiling me didn't end there though. The next day, he ran a candlelit bath for me! It was very cute and sweet. I really needed it especially with the back pain I've been feeling. Luckily, my boyfriend does things like this not just on Valentines day, but whenever he can really. He spoils me and takes good care of me and I must say I'm a very lucky girl :)

What do you think of Valentines Day? Do you celebrate it or is it just another day for you as too? Let me know your thoughts on it!

Onesies - Yay or Nay?

It seems like onesies has been one of the must have items this winter. They look so warm and comfortable not just to be worn indoors, but outdoors too! I've seen a lot of cute adorable onesies on the High street with cute and pretty patterns and I've also seen funny ones like animal onesies and even cartoon characters. I've always thought they were pretty cool but I never thought I would purchase one for myself. Until yesterday! I was in Primark Oxford Street and walked through the kids section and I saw a Hello Kitty Onesie! I'm a big hello kitty fan but I was having second thoughts about buying it because I didn't even know if I would really wear it, even if I'm just at home. Also, it's a kids onesie. The length of it was perfect because I'm super short, but I didn't know whether it would zip up because of my big baby bump. But because it was Hello Kitty, I knew I had to get it as I've never seen a hello kitty onesie before! I wasn't bothered to try it on but if it didn't fit it would be easy to return anyway.

Hello Kitty Onesie from Primark (£9.00) size - for 13 year olds! 155 cm.

I love the colours of it because it looked so simple yet the Hello Kitty pattern made it look so adorable.  Also, I loved that it has a hood! And when I tried it on, it actually fit me perfectly even with my huge bump! But it probably won't fit me soon as I know my bump will definitely get bigger and I won't be able to zip it up anymore! The hood is so cute with the pink bow at the top. Very hello kitty! It's also very warm so I know it will keep me during these cold winter nights especially now the temperature's dropping down to the minus numbers again. It even keeps my feet warm! The material is also very soft which makes it so comfortable to sleep in. I highly doubt that I will wear this outside though. I don't think I have the guts! I must say though, I'm very  happy with my purchase. It's also very cheap retailing at just £9! Most onesies I've come across in High street stores are usually £15 to £30. Maybe it's also because it's a kids onesie and not an adult one? Haha. Being short does have its perks :)

Cute Hello Kitty onesie! P.s. don't mind my messy room!

What is your opinions on onesies? Do you own one? Would you buy one and wear them if you don't? Let me know by leaving a comment below!

Baby girl Fever

Hello loves! As you all know from my other post (click here), I'm having a baby girl! My boyfriend's family just recently came back from America and they bought her a lot of beautiful designer clothes! This has got me even more excited for my bubba's arrival. Some of the things they got her was Calvin Klein and Guess dresses, hello kitty onesies and Converse booties! They're all so adorable. And very pink. I love all of them but I will definitely do another post on my faves. If only they were my size! Haha. We really appreciate all these baby clothes and I'm sure they will look beautiful on my baby girl :)

His brother and his girlfriend also got me these Hello Kitty Vans to add to my collection! I absolutely love it. I have a pair of hello kitty black vans so this pink one is definitely a contrast to it! I can't wait to wear it out. Vans are my ultimate faves. Next to uggs for the winter of course :) I'm glad they got me a slightly bigger size since my feet swell now! Oh the joys of pregnancy. Haha. It's all good though.

And of course, the food! All these american goodnessss! I love all of them. But I should really try to avoid too much sugary stuff. I don't want to get diabetes! :) Oh how I wish I could eat all of them :P

Fact: I have already gained 22lbs so far and I'm 25 weeks! I cannot believe it. And I'm bound to gain more! I know this is normal but I really hope I lose all these baby weight fast after I have given birth. I wanna be able to fit into my old small clothes again! I hope everyone's having a nice week and are getting excited for the weekend :) Next post will be a review on the Elf 100 piece eyeshadow palette which I recently got! Take care my loves! <3

Baby joy, new year, second anniversary. [Late upload]

Hey lovelies. I know it has been so long since I last updated my blog! I apologize. There has been a lot going on! But I'm here for a massive update on pretty much everything!

First of all, we're having a baby girl! We had our ultrasound scan on the 31st December 2012 and we found out that our baby is healthy baby girl! It was such a great way to end 2012 and welcome the New Year. I wouldn't have been disappointed if it was a baby boy. My ultimate wish is to have a safe delivery and a healthy happy baby. Michael was a bit disappointed though. He really wanted a boy! He said girls are too expensive especially when they grow up. Well, I think that's true especially if she's going to be anything like her mummy who is obsessed with shopping! :)

Happiness! :)

To celebrate our baby girl, I wore my favourite colour Pink for our New Year's eve party that night! I seriously cannot wait to start shopping for cute clothes for my baby. I've seen so many already that I want to buy! Anyway, this top is from New Look. I bought it ages ago but I never really had the chance to wear it. I just wore it with my maternity leggings because it's the only thing I'm comfortable wearing at the moment. Plus baggy tops! :) Even though this top isn't a maternity top, I think it accentuated my bump nicely.
New Year's Eve Outfit.

Another celebration was my cousin Alyza's Fourth birthday! Absolutely love her to bits. She's such a smart, talented, beautiful little girl and she never fails to make me smile or make me laugh especially when I'm a bit down. She asked my dad for a birthday cake too and we ordered a princess barbie cake for her! She's always wanted one and she absolutely loved it. Too bad she couldn't eat any of it... she's allergic to eggs! My poor baby. But still, she was really happy and she didn't want us to cut it :)
Alyza's Fourth Birthday.

Celebrations didn't end there. On the 3rd of January, it was me and Michael's second year anniversary! So of course that was another thing to celebrate and it was so fun! He had work in the morning so in the evening, we went to Meat Liquor in Bond St. for dinner. I've heard great things about it so we had to try it out for ourselves! We actually had to queue up for about 40 minutes. I was so hungry but we thought we would just wait since we were already there. The food was really nice. And surprisingly affordable! I had a cheeseburger and fries and we also ordered some bingo wings to share. The only thing was, it was so dark inside that I couldn't take a picture of my food. It was so loud too so it was kind of hard to talk. Maybe it wasn't the best option for a dinner date. But we still had fun :) After dinner we went to the cinema to watch Pitch Perfect. Funniest film I have ever seen in a long time! I really recommend it. I was laughing from start to end. I wouldn't mind watching it again too.

But the best part of the anniversary, presents! I got him a pair of low top converses in indigo, levis 511 in blue, a vans iphone case and a denim polo shirt from uniqlo. :)

He loved his presents but in all honesty, I loved the presents he gave me more! He spoiled me so much!

He got me two pairs of vans! The one on the left is black leather which is gorgeous and the one on the right is a pair of espadrilles which will be perfect for the spring/summer season! He knows I love Vans and I do have my own collection so this is perfect.

Real techniques starter set! Real techniques brushes have been on my wishlist for so long so you wouldn't believe how happy I was when I saw this! I will be doing a review on the brushes soon. I have heard such amazing things about real techniques so I'm so excited to use them!

A classic casio watch is another item from my wishlist! I did want the gold one, but the silver one is just as perfect and will be such pretty arm candy! I know it'll go so well with any outfit so I know I will be wearing this watch a lot :)

And last but not the least, a Ralph Lauren sweater in Cream! I was not expecting this at all. I loved it! He got me a slightly bigger size than what  would usually get, but it's such a perfect fit especially with my growing bump. I will definitely do an OOTD with this sweater. I'm excited with what I can match with it!
At the end of our anniversary date! :)
That was my January 2013 update! I promise it won't take me so long to update again. I definitely have more time for my blog now and I'm rather excited! I hope you all had a lovely weekend and are all ready for the new week ahead of us. Stay blessed and safe everyone!

It's been awhile...

because I'm really sick atm :(

Hospital. Anti-biotics. Asthma pump. I've got the flu, sinus infection and apparently Asthma! Do you know what's weird? I've never had Asthma before so this inhaler thing is totally new to me! :S

I've been ill for nearly over a week now! This is one of the things I don't like about winter. I get ill so easily because my immune system is too weak. I totally shouldn't be on my laptop right now but I wanted to do a quick post and quickly check out what's going on in the Internet world! I miss working and going out and dressing up and getting ready. I look like complete crap right now and I feel even worse than I look! I hope that I get better soon because I've had enough of feeling totally weak.

As soon as I'm up and feeling better, promise for new pictures and posts! Hope everyone is all well. It's definitely flu season and the freezing weather is not helping at all. Wrap up warm! <3

Free Glasses from Firmoo!

A couple of weeks ago, I received an email from a company called Firmoo (www.firmoo.com) asking if I wanted to receive for FREE one of their products and give a review on my blog. I went to the website straight away to see if it was legit and even googled some other blogs that have done the review and all looked good to me! I emailed back and they responded quite quickly giving me the details on how to claim my free glasses. It was either a prescription glasses or sunglasses but since my eyesight is so bad and I always wear glasses or contact lenses, I opted for the prescription glasses.

I went on the website to choose and boy did I have a hard time! There were so many varieties of different glasses to choose from and they all looked so pretty! After spending some time on the website I chose #SD2383 in Red since all my glasses have always been in black, I thought this would be a nice change :) You can find this glasses by clicking this here. It also comes in full black, blue or matte. It's very easy to fill in the form and enter your prescription too.

After receiving an email from firmoo saying my glasses have been shipped, I received it today after about 5 working days! Very quick delivery. It came with a hard case as well as a soft case as seen in the photo above. Also with a bright green cleaning cloth which is very helpful.

It also came with this cute tiny screw driver so you can adjust your glasses if it doesn't fit you just right. I didn't actually need to use this because the glasses fit me perfectly!

How cute are the glasses right? I'm really happy with the frame that I chose. The size and shape is perfect for my face shape and it's not too big either so it doesn't drown out my face or anything :) The black and red goes so well together. I will definitely be wearing these glasses when I'm giving my eyes a break from contact lenses.

The other thing which I really loved about Firmoo is that they have a first pair free program which you can check out here. Glasses are now definitely a fashion accessory and it's not just worn by people with problems with their eyesight. You can even get non-prescription glasses and sunglasses from Firmoo which is great. And to get your first pair for free to try them out is even more great! I really recommend to give Firmoo a try as I am very happy with my glasses and the service. Thanks firmoo!

Christmas wish list #1

Hi loves. I'm not really expecting anything this Christmas at all! I just plan on buying a few things to treat myself and I know my boyfriend will get me something for Christmas / our second year anniversary coming on January. But other than that, I don't really get much Christmas presents. It's not the same when you're not a kid anymore I guess! And I'd rather get money to be honest and spend it myself instead of getting presents I may not like or not use :)

But anyways even if I'm not expecting anything, a girl can still dream. Here are some of the things I need/want to get my hands on asap if possible! :) These are in no order btw, I want all of them equally!

Black quilted bomber jacket from Miss Selfridge
How nice is this black jacket? I already have a navy blue bomber jacket which I absolutely love because it keeps me so warm and dry, especially because the one I already have has a hood so wanting another one is perfectly fine! This black one looks nice and will go well with most casual outfits. I love the gold zips as well.
Converse All-Star White Hi-top
You can't go wrong with converses. I mean I love and collect Vans, but converses are classics too! I've always wanted a white pair because it will go so well with any colours.
100pc Elf eyeshadow palette in Black
I'm so excited to get my hands on this palette! I've always been a big fan of Elf products so I really want to see what the fuss is all about with this palette. Not only is it cheap and affordable, but it's 100 colours! I can experiment with endless looks with this.
Casio Ladies Gold Plated Bracelet Watch.
I've had my eye on this watch for quite some time now. It is another classic isn't it? The gold plated bracelet looks so classy and will be perfect arm candy.

H&M Red blazer
I really need a new blazer and I came across this blazer from H&M's website... and I instantly fell in love with the colour of it. It's sure to brighten up any outfit especially during the dull winter days! It can go so well with a LBD or even a nice tee and jeans.
Nails Inc. A -listers collection

This collection from Nails Inc includes 4 limited edition catwalk inspired neutral shades. It's perfect  to match the berry shades in trend right now! It includes Lower Sloane Street - soft toffee, Ledbury Road - metallic taupe, Mayfair - iridescent white, Covent Garden Ballet - delicate grey shimmer. I love Nails Inc polishes. The quality is really good and it doesn't chip easily! I love how they name the polishes after places in London too :)

Real Techniques Core Collection

I have heard such amazing things about these brushes! Especially the buffing brush! It's just not fair that I haven't got my hands on these yet! :( The price is not bad at all too! Especially for four such good quality brushes.

Viva La Juicy - La fleur
I am such a big fan of Juicy Couture perfumes - I have all of them! Except for this one which was released in September this year. It will complete my Juicy couture perfume collection once I get this! It smells absolutely divine :)

That's the items for my Christmas wish list number one! I definitely have a few more items on my list. But let's save that for another blog post shall we? :)

Have a great day/night lovelies!

Doodle away.

Hi lovelies! I hope you're all having a great week. I just wanted to share with you one of my favourite past times, especially when I'm feeling really down. Doodling and writing away on my journal! I find it really therapeutic and it calms me down. I can just write and doodle everything and anything down. Anyway, here are a few of my doodles. I will probably share more of these soon :)

I'm no artist. I just enjoy doodling and writing. It's good for the soul :)

Enjoy the rest of the week my loves! <3

Leopard Print Nail Design.

Hello everyone! I've been wanting to try out the leopard print nail design myself and I finally had the chance to over the weekend! I had a lot of fun with it and I definitely will be doing it again. You can experiment with so many different colours and the best part of it? You don't need a steady hand because it's meant to look messy! Well, kinda. Hehe. It was easy and fun to do. If a newbie like myself can do this, I'm sure anyone can :)

These are the three products that I used for it.
Nails Inc. St. James - for the colour base.
Beauty UK white - for the spots.
Andrea Fulerton Nail Boutique dot and flick - for the lines.

You can mix and match literally any colours you want. But I think it's best if you use a lighter colour for the base and a darker colour for the spots so you can see the detail more. This is what I'm going to try next time.

St. James is now of one my favourite shades from Nails Inc! I love how vibrant the colour is. It's a deep red which I think really compliments my skin colour. It's great for brightening up dull days too!

Once your base is dry, you can start with the spots! What's great about this is that they don't have to look neat. To really achieve that leopard print, spread them evenly over your nail and there's a variety of different sizes. Just make sure you don't over do them so you can still see the detail of it.

What I enjoyed most about this design is drawing on the squiggly lines! You do this once you have done all the spots. Just draw on the squiggly lines on either side of the spots and voila! :)

Real easy right? I know it doesn't look perfect, but this is my first time. Will certainly be practising more so it'll look better next time! :) Will you be trying this design on your nails? Let me know how you find it! :)

Mini Friday Treat!

Hello lovely people! It's Friday!!! For the first time in the longest time, I can finally get excited about Friday because I'll be off for the weekend! Usually I'm working over the weekend too, so I'm really going to relax, pamper and rest during my days off and make the most of it.

Anyway, me and my mum went out earlier for some quick shopping! I had to hold back because I really want to save up and I told myself that I won't go shopping until payday comes again (which isn't for another 2 weeks!). Hard times. I found so many pretty things that I wanted to buy. But I only picked up a few accessories from Miss Selfridge and my mum paid for them which was great!

Miss Selfridge accessories are my favourite! I always find really pretty rings and earrings there.
It's been awhile since I bought hoop earrings. I went through a phase when I was younger where I wore hoop earrings all the time and the bigger the better, lol! But these hoop earrings are pretty and I love the peace symbol on it. The mismatched earrings are great too. This is the second time that I bought mismatched earrings from Miss Selfridge and I love it! It's more interesting and unique and you can just mix and match. The rings are very pretty too and I love the dangling charms on some of them which are a pearl, a crown and a little pink cuppa! So cute :)

So that's my mini Friday treat! Will do a post soon on another nail art similar to my leopard print which can be found here! :)

Have a great weekend my loves!

Monday!

Hello my lovelies! I hope you're all having a lovely day/night so far where ever you are in the world. I've had a busy pretty week so far and I'm so tired! But I had a day off on Monday which was great :) I was a little bit annoyed because I woke up so early even though I didn't need to. But it turned out okay because I ended up going swimming! I absolutely love swimming and I haven't been for ages and I thought it would be a good exercise.

Queen Mother Sports Centre
The nearest pool next to me was the Queen Mother Sports Centre in Victoria, which was only about 15minutes away. I swam for about 45 minutes. I wanted to swim for longer but I got tired so easily! And it was a little bit boring because I was on my own. It was very relaxing though and it was a great "ME" time. Plus I felt so great and had loads of energy after it.

That night, me and and my boyfriend also had a cinema and dinner date! We were meant to watch Skyfall but we missed it so we watched Fun Size instead. Cute funny film! We had dinner at Chiquitos and as always the food was lovely. I was in food coma after our meal! Definitely enjoyed it though. Anyway, this is what I was wearing that day:

Pink and brown striped jumper: H&M. Black shorts: Miss Selfridge. Maroon shoes: Vans.

It was a very cold day! But I really loved this outfit. It's another casual, comfy outfit. I paired this outfit with a varsity jacket plus another jacket because it was just too cold. I needed the layers!
I love wearing vans too because they go with almost any casual outfit. Definitely a fave. Me and my boyfriend love them and we collect them! <3

Anyways, that was my Monday! I'm off for the next four days and I get to spend the weekend with my lovely boyfriend so I can't wait for that. Will definitely post a new entry in the next few days too as I know I will have the time. Also, someone left me a comment on tumblr asking me to do videos! I honestly would really love to do videos on my hauls, OOTD and maybe even tutorials... But I just don't have the time right now :( I have my internship during the weekdays and I work part time during the weekend so I get really tired. And I would need to invest in a good video camera too! Once I do, I will definitely start making videos and will find the time to. <3

Til next time my loves!

Friday's OOTD.

Hello my lovelies! I was meaning to post this up on Friday, but I was out the whole day and I was working all weekend!

Burgungy Hoody: Topshop.  Black leggings: H&M. T-shirt: Sugar moustache Boots:  Grey short mountain quilted: Uggs.
It was pretty cold on Friday! So I had to wear a jacket on top of my hoody because it wasn't enough to keep me warm! Also, I didn't like my face that day haha. It was one of those days! It's a pretty casual outfit. Something that I would wear if I'm feeling quite chilled, laid back and too lazy to dress up :)

Anyways, the t-shirt that I'm wearing is one of my favourites! It's by Sugar Moustache. They are based in Thailand and they sell a variety of products online from clothing, phone accessories, bags and jewellery. Most of their designs are based on the moustache ;) But they do have other cool designs aswell so there's a lot to choose from.

They ship worldwide and their products are not not expensive at all.  They even have different offers every month which is awesome. Plus, they dispatch orders pretty quick. And when I had a questions regarding my payment, they replied ASAP. I'm happy with the product and their service. My boyfriend also has the same t-shirt, just because we are cheesy like that and we do like to match outfits sometimes! Haha. He too is a big fan of Sugar Moustache! I will definitely be ordering more items from them as I have already seen a few which I would like to own :)

Click here to check out Sugar Moustache!

I hope you all had a lovely weekend and are ready to face another week! Can you believe it's November already? :O Time goes pretty quick. Christmas is coming soon! I also have some pretty big news but I'm not yet ready to share. As soon as I am, I will definitely blog about it :)
