Christmas wish list #1

Hi loves. I'm not really expecting anything this Christmas at all! I just plan on buying a few things to treat myself and I know my boyfriend will get me something for Christmas / our second year anniversary coming on January. But other than that, I don't really get much Christmas presents. It's not the same when you're not a kid anymore I guess! And I'd rather get money to be honest and spend it myself instead of getting presents I may not like or not use :)

But anyways even if I'm not expecting anything, a girl can still dream. Here are some of the things I need/want to get my hands on asap if possible! :) These are in no order btw, I want all of them equally!

Black quilted bomber jacket from Miss Selfridge
How nice is this black jacket? I already have a navy blue bomber jacket which I absolutely love because it keeps me so warm and dry, especially because the one I already have has a hood so wanting another one is perfectly fine! This black one looks nice and will go well with most casual outfits. I love the gold zips as well.
Converse All-Star White Hi-top
You can't go wrong with converses. I mean I love and collect Vans, but converses are classics too! I've always wanted a white pair because it will go so well with any colours.
100pc Elf eyeshadow palette in Black
I'm so excited to get my hands on this palette! I've always been a big fan of Elf products so I really want to see what the fuss is all about with this palette. Not only is it cheap and affordable, but it's 100 colours! I can experiment with endless looks with this.
Casio Ladies Gold Plated Bracelet Watch.
I've had my eye on this watch for quite some time now. It is another classic isn't it? The gold plated bracelet looks so classy and will be perfect arm candy.

H&M Red blazer
I really need a new blazer and I came across this blazer from H&M's website... and I instantly fell in love with the colour of it. It's sure to brighten up any outfit especially during the dull winter days! It can go so well with a LBD or even a nice tee and jeans.
Nails Inc. A -listers collection

This collection from Nails Inc includes 4 limited edition catwalk inspired neutral shades. It's perfect  to match the berry shades in trend right now! It includes Lower Sloane Street - soft toffee, Ledbury Road - metallic taupe, Mayfair - iridescent white, Covent Garden Ballet - delicate grey shimmer. I love Nails Inc polishes. The quality is really good and it doesn't chip easily! I love how they name the polishes after places in London too :)

Real Techniques Core Collection

I have heard such amazing things about these brushes! Especially the buffing brush! It's just not fair that I haven't got my hands on these yet! :( The price is not bad at all too! Especially for four such good quality brushes.

Viva La Juicy - La fleur
I am such a big fan of Juicy Couture perfumes - I have all of them! Except for this one which was released in September this year. It will complete my Juicy couture perfume collection once I get this! It smells absolutely divine :)

That's the items for my Christmas wish list number one! I definitely have a few more items on my list. But let's save that for another blog post shall we? :)

Have a great day/night lovelies!

Leopard Print Nail Design.

Hello everyone! I've been wanting to try out the leopard print nail design myself and I finally had the chance to over the weekend! I had a lot of fun with it and I definitely will be doing it again. You can experiment with so many different colours and the best part of it? You don't need a steady hand because it's meant to look messy! Well, kinda. Hehe. It was easy and fun to do. If a newbie like myself can do this, I'm sure anyone can :)

These are the three products that I used for it.
Nails Inc. St. James - for the colour base.
Beauty UK white - for the spots.
Andrea Fulerton Nail Boutique dot and flick - for the lines.

You can mix and match literally any colours you want. But I think it's best if you use a lighter colour for the base and a darker colour for the spots so you can see the detail more. This is what I'm going to try next time.

St. James is now of one my favourite shades from Nails Inc! I love how vibrant the colour is. It's a deep red which I think really compliments my skin colour. It's great for brightening up dull days too!

Once your base is dry, you can start with the spots! What's great about this is that they don't have to look neat. To really achieve that leopard print, spread them evenly over your nail and there's a variety of different sizes. Just make sure you don't over do them so you can still see the detail of it.

What I enjoyed most about this design is drawing on the squiggly lines! You do this once you have done all the spots. Just draw on the squiggly lines on either side of the spots and voila! :)

Real easy right? I know it doesn't look perfect, but this is my first time. Will certainly be practising more so it'll look better next time! :) Will you be trying this design on your nails? Let me know how you find it! :)

Zebra Print Nails

I love doing nail art and I'm always excited to experiment with different polishes and designs. I'm a newbie at this so my designs aren't exactly the best, but I just love experimenting!

Here is a zebra print nail design using OPI and Andrea Fulerton's nail boutique dot and flick pen. It was my first time using Andrea Fulerton's product and I gotta say, I love it! It was very easy to use. You also have the option of using the pen or the thin brush so you can really do a lot of different designs and patterns on your nails. Will definitely be getting more nail pens :)

Ombre Nails.
This is my first time doing 'Ombre' nails on myself. I must say, though it's not the most perfect, I'm quite happy since this is my first time doing it! :) I have a growing passion for nail art and I would really like to learn more techniques. I also need to buy more nail paint and brushes so I can practice!
